With summer holidays just around the corner, parents across Wales have already started looking for creative ways to keep their children entertained once school comes to an end in a few weeks’ time. From days out to staycations, there is so much on offer as restrictions continue to relax. For those parents looking for something a little different, the Wildlife Trusts in Wales has the perfect option!

As part of the Stand for Nature Wales project, Radnorshire and Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trusts have been working hard behind the scenes to pull together a series of creative workshops with a nature twist.

Starting from Friday 23^rd July the Wildlife Trusts will be delivering free creative workshops to children from 9 to 24 years old. These workshops offer a unique opportunity for children to embrace their creative side whilst also learning about nature and our climate. Kicking off in Llandrindod Wells, attendees can expect a film-making master class, some improvisation and nature-inspired painting.

Stand for Nature Wales is a youth climate change project delivered by the Wildlife Trusts in Wales. It aims to empower and inspire young people to take action for nature and wildlife in their local area in a bid to tackle climate change. Through this vital project, Wildlife Trusts in Wales are amplifying young voices and giving young people the skills and tools to deliver climate action in their local area. The project has been made possible by the players of the National Lottery.
